आरती और चालीसा सदियों पुरानी परंपरागत रचनाएँ हैं और सार्वजनिक डोमेन में हैं। इस साइट पर देवनागरी पाठ archive.org पर उपलब्ध एक स्कैन किए गए संग्रह से लिया गया है, और उसे हाथ से जाँचा गया है। Aartis and Chalisas are traditional works, centuries old and in the public domain. The Devanagari on this site was taken from a scanned compendium on archive.org and then checked by hand.

भाषा चुनने के दो विकल्प हैं: Hindi चुनने पर पाठ देवनागरी में दिखता है, और English चुनने पर वही पाठ रोमन लिपि में — जिससे हिन्दी न पढ़ पाने वाले भी साथ गा सकें। रोमन रूपांतरण गाने योग्य रूप में लिखा गया है, शब्दकोशीय IAST नहीं। There are two language options. Choosing Hindi shows the text in Devanagari; choosing English shows the same text in Roman script, so that people who do not read Hindi can still chant along. The Roman is written to be sung rather than to be scholarly, so it follows how a line is actually chanted rather than strict IAST.

धर्मग्रंथ में एक भी शब्द की भूल गंभीर बात है। इसलिए जो पाठ पंक्ति-दर-पंक्ति सत्यापित नहीं हुआ है, उस पर पृष्ठ पर स्पष्ट सूचना दिखाई जाती है। जो पंक्तियाँ स्रोत स्कैन में नहीं थीं और परंपरागत पाठ से पूरी की गई हैं, वे भी अलग से चिह्नित हैं। A single wrong word in scripture matters. So any text that has not been reconciled line by line carries a visible notice on the page, and individual lines that were missing from the source scan and restored from the traditional text are marked as such. Nothing unverified is presented as authoritative.
